Who keeps this

The “we” on this site is one person. My name is Daniel and I live in Denver. I built this because there was no way to find out what was happening on a given Tuesday — the sessions were all there, scattered across a dozen Instagram accounts and ticket pages, and nobody had put them in one place.

How a session gets listed

Most listings come from looking: a standing sweep of the venues, organizers and practitioners already on the calendar, twice a week. Some come from people sending them in. Either way a person reads it before it appears.

Listing is free, and there is no way to pay for a better position, because the moment there is one the calendar stops being useful. Nothing here is an advertisement. Every listing links out to wherever the organizer actually sells tickets; the calendar takes no cut of anything.

Not everything sent in gets listed. The calendar covers facilitated group sound sessions on the Front Range, so a yoga class that ends with a bowl is usually not a fit. That is a judgement call and I get it wrong sometimes.

Corrections

Details go stale, times move, and I have written practitioner profiles for people I have never met — which is a strange way to meet. If something about you or your venue is wrong, or you would rather not be listed at all, tell me and I will fix it or take it down. No questions, no persuading.
